Take Don't Touch, Capture but not to Disturb, to Steal a moment but avoid an Interaction, being Apart of something in a way that's meaningful and self-fulfilling yet leaving no meaningful mark or impact to trade with the world. It's a perfect oxymoron that describes this backward project. A project that takes a closeted analysis of the personal, a cold look out onto the world, and the exploration of the desires and impulses he holds as he's shaped by them, and they're shaped by him. Utilizing dreamlike surreal colors and windows into harsh landscapes, Take Don't Touch serves as a timestamp on my life growing up as the outsider and during the tumultuous time as a soon-to-be college graduate and adult.
